01 — GATEWAY TO CRYPTO

The clearer way into GateNotes from people who learned it the hard way.

Not the official site — just plain-English notes from people who got burned, then figured Gate out: registering, passing verification, moving money, and keeping fees low.

Sign up to Gate through our invite link for a fee discount

The sign-up button goes through an on-site disclosure page first — it spells out the invite offer and the risks, then sends you to Gate's official site. We don't impersonate Gate; we just clear the path.

*The actual fee discount is whatever Gate shows on its own pages and may change with platform policy. Gate doesn't serve some countries/regions — if you're in a restricted region, don't sign up (per Gate's latest list).

/01

No code shoved in your face

The invite sits on a disclosure page; the homepage just explains how the saving works.

/02

Mistakes we actually made

Verification bounced, wrong withdrawal chain, fees over-charged — which field to watch, spelled out.

/03

Tools that work

GT fee savings, DCA planning, a KYC self-check — all run in your browser, no fake data.

FAQ

Common questions

Will my fees really be lower if I sign up through this site?
Signing up via our invite link qualifies you for the fee discount Gate gives invited users. The exact rate is set by Gate and can change; what counts is whatever you see on Gate's own sign-up and fee pages. This comes from Gate's referral program and costs you nothing extra.
Is this the official Gate website?
No. This is an independent third-party site with no affiliation to Gate / Gate.com, and it provides no trading or custody services. We only write guides; the real sign-up and trading happen on Gate's own site.
Why isn't the invite code shown on the homepage?
We'd rather you understand how things work and weigh the risks first. The sign-up button leads to a disclosure page that clearly states the invite code, where the offer comes from and the risks, before sending you to Gate.
If I pick the wrong chain when withdrawing, can I recover the coins?
On-chain transfers are usually irreversible, and sending to an incompatible network can mean a permanent loss. Always check the receiving network first. See which chain to use for USDT.
